Full job description

Lynds is a 44 year old dynamic Industrial Supply Company representing a wide range of industry leading manufacturers. You will be part of a team of 5 outside and 5 inside salespeople servicing hundreds of commercial and government accounts in NS, NB & PEI. Lynds has busy walk in store and over 12,000 ft2 of warehouse to support its large customer base.

The job requires a motivated, organized individual to develop new business opportunities and work with existing Customers, selling fasteners, tools, safety supplies and other industrial, commercial products. Lynds offers products to a wide range of industries, specializing in shop tools, Milwaukee products that service trades and the maintenance and repair industry. Job includes a Company van with tools and industrial products for sale on site.

The primary responsibilities include; conducting vendor managed inventory for customers, promoting and introducing various industrial products to solve customer needs and problems, Telephone sales, developing long term customer relationships and seeking out new customers in the specified territory. The territory will concentrate around the Central and Northern regions of Nova Scotia.

Experience in industrial supplies sales and related industries will be considered a significant asset.

Competitive remuneration package including base salary and commission package, phone, computer, vehicle and health plan.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
