Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Gas Jockey to join our retail team. The Gas Jockey is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and friendly service at the fuel station. This role includes assisting customers with fueling, maintaining cleanliness of the forecourt, following safety procedures, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers politely and provide excellent customer service
• Dispense fuel safely and accurately into customer vehicles
• Assist customers with basic vehicle needs (e.g., checking windshield washer fluid, cleaning windshields, tire air if applicable)
• Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately
• Follow all fuel safety regulations and emergency procedures
• Monitor fuel pumps and forecourt activity to prevent spills, theft, or unsafe behavior
• Maintain cleanliness of the forecourt, pumps, and surrounding areas
• Report equipment malfunctions, fuel leaks, or safety concerns immediately
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards
• Assist inside the store when required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous customer service experience is an asset
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical work
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
