Colpitts Developments Ltd is looking for a Maintenance Staff Assistant for our Maintenance Division. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your day-to-day tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Support the scheduling of the maintenance technicians who respond to requests from tenants for repairs.
• Help building superintendents prepare apartments for new tenants.
• Pick up supplies at local stores in support of the maintenance crew.
• Assist with the review of invoices from suppliers for approval and payment.
• Assist with the processing of time sheets from maintenance staff for payroll.
• Logging and tracking new appliances for dwelling units.
• Maintain inventory of parts for appliances.
• Simple maintenance tasks as required.

Requirements for the Position:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively as well as independently.
• Results oriented problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Finance and Budget Management expertise.
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and become proficient in a variety of skills and disciplines.
• Willingness to adapt to change and be flexible in nature.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
