Technical Sales Representative

Location: Red Deer, AB
Salary: $80,000 - $102,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative with strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for solving customer problems. This position focuses on building customer relationships, providing technical solutions, and growing sales within industrial, construction, manufacturing, and heavy equipment sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes and sales opportunities
  • Identify customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment
  • Experience in construction, oilfield, manufacturing, fabrication, or related industries
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with technical or industrial sales is an asset
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications is preferred
  • CRM experience is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
