Full job description

Our client, a leader in the Logistic industry, is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join their team. As a Transportation Coordinator, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the operational efficiency of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong decision-making skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Transportation Coordinator

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Pay Range: Up to $27/hr (depending upon experience)

What's the Job?

  • Support the movement of trailers within our facilities and network to ensure operational readiness.
  • Review empty External Carrier Trailer removal requests and communicate with Carriers for removal.
  • Monitor progress and Carrier compliance for trailer removals.
  • Advise Carriers of any trailer repair requests from the Terminals or the Garage.
  • Run Dwell Reports for both Internal and External trailers and support Fleet with internal asset relocations as required.

What's Needed?

  • Experience working in a network connectivity team with in-depth knowledge of SAP TM.
  • Completion of High School plus an additional work-related program up to one academic year of duration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry skills (50 wpm).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player mindset.
