Job title: Senior Associate (full time)

Salary Range: $95,000 CAD + plus commissions

How to Apply: Please submit your resume and cover letter to info@cadenceleadership.com (Candidates who apply via email will be prioritized.)

Cadence Leadership & Communication is a boutique executive coaching and leadership development firm. We partner with organizations to strengthen leadership, improve communication, and develop high-performing teams from the front line to the C-suite. Our work is grounded in trust, collaboration, and practical impact. We help leaders and organizations thrive in an evolving business landscape.

The Opportunity:

Cadence Leadership is looking for a Senior Associate to provide individual and team coaching, facilitation and instruction, and 360 assessment debriefs. The Senior Associate collaborates with colleagues to ensure quality and alignment, and contributes to business development efforts through account management, lead follow up, and RFP participation.

This is not a traditional coaching position. It's built for someone who moves confidently between one-on-one coaching, team facilitation, and client relationship management. The right candidate is also someone who brings judgment and presence to operate without a roadmap. You've worked with senior leaders. You understand the room. You know how to build trust quickly and challenge constructively.

Key Responsibilities:

Individual & Team Coaching

  • Deliver one-on-one coaching to senior leaders and executives, grounding each engagement in clear goals, trust, and accountability. Lead team coaching programs that combine structured learning, guided discussion, and individual follow-up.
  • Translate complex leadership challenges into focused, practical development pathways.
  • Integrate Cadence methodologies to strengthen leadership presence, communication, and impact.

Facilitation

  • Lead and customize in-person and virtual workshops from Cadence's course portfolio.
  • Adapt content in real time to meet the needs of different executive audiences and organizational contexts.
  • Create engaging, psychologically grounded learning environments that connect directly to the real challenges senior leaders are navigating.

360 Assessment Debriefs

  • Lead 360 assessment debrief conversations that translate feedback into clear, prioritized development focus.
  • Synthesize report findings to deepen self-awareness and shape the direction of ongoing coaching. Integrate 360 insights across the full coaching engagement to support sustained behavioural change.

Business Development

  • Support business development through strong relationship management and thoughtful client engagement
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for key client accounts, maintaining a high-touch and responsive experience
  • Engage prospective clients through discovery conversations that clarify needs and align solutions
  • Identify opportunities to deepen partnerships through coaching, training, and assessment offerings
  • Contribute to proposals and RFP responses through collaboration, research, and clear communication
  • Other duties as assigned by the company

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • ICF Credential (ACC, PCC, or MCC) and minimum 5 years of experience as an executive coach or similar role
  • Or a graduate degree in Psychology or Education and minimum 5 years of experience working as a professional in those fields
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
  • High level of professionalism and confidence in client-facing communication
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to clarity and tone
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without needing heavy structure or direction
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment under pressure
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of accountability and ownership over assigned responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and calendar management systems
  • Experience working remotely and managing a self-directed workload
  • Must be based in Canada and legally able to work in Canada
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently both within Canada and internationally

Compensation:

  • Compensation:
  • Salary range $95,000 CAD annually
  • In addition to a competitive base salary, Senior Associate team members participate in a quarterly performance-based commission program that rewards organizational growth and profitability. Commission payments are based on overall company performance and are distributed using a team-based model
  • Eligible for annual bonus based on individual performance
  • Progressive PTO approach
  • Comprehensive benefits package after three months
  • Fully remote except for in person facilitation and meetings with clients
