Construction Sales Associate – Residential (Base + Commission)

The Role

We’re looking for a Construction Sales Associate who can confidently manage leads, build relationships, and convert opportunities into signed projects.

This is a performance-driven role with strong earning potential. You’ll be working with qualified inbound leads, guiding clients through their renovation or custom home journey, and closing projects.

Compensation

  • Base salary + commission structure
  • ~2% commission on projects closed (based on construction value, before tax, with minimum margin requirements)
  • ~3% commission on annual sales exceeding $6M
  • Commission paid at key project milestones
  • Company vehicle, phone, and laptop provided
  • Typical earnings range: $80,000 – $200,000+ based on performance

Responsibilities

Sales & Client Engagement

  • Respond to inbound inquiries and schedule consultations
  • Meet with clients to understand scope, budget, and goals
  • Prepare quotes and scopes of work using company systems
  • Follow up and guide clients through decision-making
  • Convert leads into signed construction projects

Business Development

  • Build relationships with architects, designers, and real estate professionals
  • Contribute to marketing and growth initiatives
  • Generate referral-based opportunities

Project Coordination

  • Work with estimators, designers, and project managers for smooth project handoff
  • Maintain client communication through early project stages
  • Track client satisfaction and project progress

Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Provide weekly sales updates and performance tracking

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction (Home Additions or custom homes)
  • Proven experience in sales or client-facing roles
  • Strong understanding of construction scope and pricing
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
  • Experience with CRM systems and estimating tools is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Work Environment

  • Hybrid role (field + remote + occasional office in Concord)
  • Flexible schedule (including evenings/weekends as needed)
  • GTA-based projects
