JOB DESCRIPTION

Would you like to be part of a stimulating teaching environment located in a city-center campus with a multicultural student body? We invite you to submit your application to our Candidate Pool.
Applying to the Candidate Pool will keep your application on file for six (6) months. We may pre-screen candidates for temporary employment opportunities that arise.
Job description and tasks
In addition to regular teaching duties, the role includes:
Involvement in pedagogical days organized by the College
Participation in departmental meetings
Involvement in student-focused activities such as field trips, competitions, and year-end Graduate Exhibition.
Performing other department related administrative duties
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Leisure Studies or related field
3 years appropriate professional experience
Teaching experience at the College level an asset
Excellent English communication skills essential
General knowledge of French is an asset.
Note: The selection committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a College level Diploma (DEC). Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional / industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
