As the Project and Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination of all aspects of projects within Curriculum and Learning Supports, ranging from local initiatives to international partnership projects. This role involves the strategic design and production of resources, meticulous budget coordination for various grants and funds, and the management of department facilities and assets. We require a highly organized professional with exceptional project management skills and advanced design expertise who can work independently to manage competing priorities and ensure visual and branding consistency across Division products.

• Plan and coordinate special events, including cultural activities, Division events, professional learning workshops, and conferences.
• Leverage strategic design principles to support the creation of departmental products and maintain visual and branding consistency using advanced publishing software.
• Act as a liaison for projects involving foreign governments, provincial departments, post-secondary institutions, and various community stakeholders.
• Design and maintain content for web-based communication tools, social media applications, and professional learning products using Division content management tools.
• Coordinate the production, formatting, and distribution of resources, documents, materials, and reports for a range of purposes.
• Manage project finances by tracking revenues and expenditures, monitoring inventory records, and ensuring adherence to Division policies and budget guidelines.
• Oversee facility and IT requirements, including Occupational Health and Safety procedures and emergency preparedness at the Languages Centre at Woodcroft.
Coordinate workflow for support staff and temporary personnel related to specific project areas.

• undergraduate degree, preferably a Bachelor of Design or a similar field
• a minimum three years related experience
• fluency in both verbal and written Spanish is required
• advanced technical skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Apps, digital development, and various publishing software
• effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, contractors, and international partners
• strong organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple monitoring systems for contracts, grants, and allocated funds
demonstrated ability to work independently toward goals and objectives while also performing effectively within collaborative team environments

$44.70 - $57.08 per hour
