Position Overview
As a Systems Administrator, you will be a part of our service team, responsible for resolving complex technical issues and ensuring a high standard of support delivery.
This role is hands-on and client-focused. You will support advanced troubleshooting, mentor junior technicians, and help standardize and improve service operations across all client environments.
You will be expected to take ownership of issues, deliver timely resolutions, and ensure systems are secure, stable, and optimized.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex technical issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced problems across servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud platforms
- Support and maintain Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID)
- Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and escalations within SLA targets
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
- Assist with client onboarding, migrations, and upgrades
- Maintain and improve system performance, reliability, and security
- Support backup and disaster recovery systems (Veeam or equivalent)
- Document solutions, processes, and client environments clearly
- Collaborate with the service desk and project teams to ensure consistent delivery
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to their technical growth
- Identify opportunities to standardize and improve client environments
Technical Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in technical support within an MSP or similar environment
- Strong experience with Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure)
- Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls)
- Experience with endpoint management and security tools
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam preferred)
- Experience with RMM and PSA tools (e.g., NinjaOne, Atera, ConnectWise, etc.)
- Strong PowerShell or scripting skills is an asset
- Experience supporting hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
