Sommaire du poste
Le(la) technicien(ne) en assurance qualité soutient l’équipe AQ en veillant à ce que tous les produits, procédés et matières premières respectent les normes de qualité de l’entreprise, des clients et des autorités réglementaires. Ce rôle contribue aux systèmes qualité, assure le suivi de la production et des matières premières, participe aux lancements de produits, soutient les enquêtes sur les plaintes et veille au respect des principes de salubrité alimentaire et des Bonnes pratiques de fabrication (BPF).
Responsabilités
- Effectuer des contrôles qualité en cours de production afin de s’assurer que les produits respectent les normes établies.
- Vérifier les matières premières à la réception pour s’assurer qu’elles répondent aux spécifications de l’entreprise et des clients.
- Mettre en retenue les matières ou produits non conformes.
- Réaliser des analyses sensorielles, chimiques et physiques des produits et mélanges, et consigner les résultats avec précision.
- Réviser et maintenir à jour les spécifications des matières premières et la documentation associée.
- Comparer les spécifications des fournisseurs avec les exigences internes afin de valider leur conformité.
- Maintenir à jour les dossiers et la documentation des fournisseurs approuvés.
- Vérifier les dossiers de production, de sanitation, de préopération et de BPF pour en assurer l’exactitude et la conformité.
- Réviser et approuver les épreuves d’étiquettes et autoriser leur mise en circulation.
- Participer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue des procédés.
- Soutenir les lancements de nouveaux produits (tests, vérifications qualité).
- Participer aux enquêtes sur les plaintes clients/consommateurs et contribuer aux actions correctives.
- Préparer et transmettre la documentation technique aux clients ou aux équipes internes au besoin.
- Offrir un soutien technique et qualité aux autres départements.
- Participer aux simulations de rappel et aux exercices de gestion de crise.
- Veiller au respect des politiques qualité, des normes de salubrité alimentaire et des exigences réglementaires.
- Signaler rapidement toute problématique liée à la qualité ou à la salubrité des aliments.
- Effectuer la saisie de données et assurer la tenue de dossiers précis.
- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe demandée par le(la) responsable AQ.
Profil recherché
- Diplôme en sciences des aliments, microbiologie, chimie ou domaine connexe.
- 1 à 2 ans d’expérience en assurance qualité, idéalement dans le secteur alimentaire.
- Certification en salubrité alimentaire (HACCP, GFSI, SQF, BRC) un atout.
- Grande attention aux détails et souci de la précision.
- Bonnes compétences en communication et en rédaction de rapports.
- Esprit analytique et aptitude à résoudre des problèmes.
- Capacité à travailler en équipe tout en étant autonome.
- Bonne maîtrise de Microsoft Word, Excel et des bases de données.
- Personne fiable, organisée et capable de gérer plusieurs priorités.

Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location: Baie d'Urfé
The Quality Assurance Technician provides support to the QA team by ensuring that all products, processes, and raw materials meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standards. This role assists with quality systems, monitors production and raw material quality, participates in product launches, supports investigations into complaints, and helps maintain compliance with food safety principles and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform online quality checks during production to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Monitor incoming raw materials to ensure they meet company and customer specifications.
- Hold or place materials and products on hold when they do not meet required standards.
- Conduct sensory, chemical, and physical testing of products and blends, ensuring accurate documentation of results.
- Review and maintain raw material specifications and related documentation.
- Compare supplier specifications with company standards to verify compliance.
- Maintain and update approved supplier documentation and records.
- Review production, sanitation, pre-operational, and GMP records for completeness and accuracy.
- Review and approve label proofs and release labels as required.
- Participate in process improvement activities to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Support new product launches by assisting with testing and quality checks.
- Investigate customer and consumer complaints and assist in developing responses and corrective actions.
- Prepare and issue technical documentation to customers or internal departments as needed.
- Provide technical and quality support to other departments when required.
- Assist with mock recalls or crisis simulations to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with company quality policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Report any food safety or quality concerns to management promptly.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate quality and production records.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the QA Manager.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or similar.
- 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in food production.
- Food safety certification (HACCP, GFSI, SQF, BRC) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic databases.
- Reliable, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities
