  • In-house manufacturing (prefabricated wall systems + millwork)
  • Strong pipeline of projects across Ontario, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick
  • End-to-end involvement from concept through construction

We’re growing and looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality building projects.

The Opportunity

  • Lead and take ownership of electrical design across multi-unit building projects
  • Work directly with internal teams and construction sites
  • Influence real-world outcomes from design through to commissioning

  • Lead electrical design including:
  • Power distribution systems
  • Lighting and controls
  • Emergency and life safety systems
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams:
  • Mechanical, structural, architectural, and construction teams
  • Provide construction-phase support:
  • Site visits
  • RFIs and clarifications
  • Field reviews and issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with: Provincial codes and standards, Safety regulations and best practices
  • Mentor and oversee work completed by junior staff or external consultants

What We’re Looking For

  • P.Eng. in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, or Ontario
  • We will support licensing in other provinces if needed
  • 5+ years of experience in building electrical design

  • Strong understanding of Multi-unit residential or commercial building systems
  • Comfortable working in a design-build environment
  • Willing to engage with project teams and visit sites as needed

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Exposure to fast-track or design-build project delivery

Why Join DBS
