Who you are:

  • Must be enrolled in an Engineering co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian university.

  • Have Excellent computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely, using appropriate technical vocabulary.

  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license.

What you get to do:

  • System modelling– 10% of time

    • CYME system models for load flow and protection
  • Engineering calculations – 40% of time

    • Load checks
    • Voltage drops
    • Microgen
  • Planning studies – 10% of time

    • Small projects
    • Coordination
  • Project support – 25% of time

    • Closeouts
    • Supporting EAs and engineers on large projects
  • General tasks – 15% of time
