Overview

We're looking for an electronics engineer to design and validate the circuit boards behind our biometric products. You'll work on compact, low-power embedded systems — from schematic to certification — in direct collaboration with our firmware, mechanical, and production teams.

This role suits someone who wants exposure to the full cycle: design, prototype, debug at the bench, then carry the product through regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Design digital and embedded circuits: microcontrollers (ARM, PIC32), USB interfaces, intelligent battery management, sensor and communication module integration
  • Produce schematics and collaborate on multilayer PCB layout (Altium, OrCAD), IPC compliant designs
  • Develop and run electrical and functional validation test benches
  • Debug prototypes using oscilloscope, logic analyzer and multimeter
  • Prepare and drive certification campaigns: EMC, FCC, CE, MIL-STD-810G and other applicable requirements
  • Produce technical documentation: design files, test procedures, validation reports, ECOs
  • Support production transfer: DFM, DFT, and troubleshooting of manufacturing and contract-manufacturer issues
  • Work with the firmware team on new board bring-up

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in electronic circuit design
  • Proficiency with an ECAD tool (Altium, OrCAD)
  • Solid experience in using “Claude” IA for design assistance
  • Knowledge of microcontroller architectures and USB communication protocols
  • Comfortable in the lab with measurement and debug instrumentation
  • Solid grounding in datasheet interpretation and design calculations (power budget, signal integrity, tolerances)
  • Working French and English (technical documentation and international suppliers)

Assests

  • Experience with regulatory compliance and EMC test preparation
  • Embedded programming fundamentals (Python, C) sufficient to validate hardware and for test automation
  • Low-power or battery-powered design experience
  • Experience with medical, security, or defense certified products

Nous cherchons un(e) ingénieur(e) en électronique pour concevoir et valider les cartes électroniques de nos produits biométriques. Vous travaillerez sur des systèmes embarqués compacts et à faible consommation, du schéma jusqu'à la certification, en collaboration directe avec les équipes firmware, mécanique et production.

C'est un poste pour quelqu'un qui veut toucher au cycle complet : concevoir, prototyper, déboguer au banc, puis amener le produit jusqu'à la conformité réglementaire.

Responsabilités

  • Produire la documentation technique : dossiers de conception, procédures de test, rapports de validation, ECO
  • Soutenir le transfert en production : DFM, DFT, résolution des problèmes en fabrication et chez le sous-traitant
  • Travailler avec l'équipe firmware au bring-up des nouvelles cartes

Exigences Essentielles

  • Baccalauréat en génie électrique, génie électronique ou domaine connexe
  • 1 à 3 ans d'expérience en conception de circuits électroniques
  • Maîtrise d'un outil de CAO électronique (Altium, OrCAD)
  • Aisance avec l’IA “Claude” pour utiliser comme outil de développement
  • Connaissance des architectures à microcontrôleur et des protocoles de communication USB
  • Aisance en laboratoire avec l'instrumentation de mesure et de débogage
  • Bases en lecture de datasheets et en calculs de conception (budget d'alimentation, intégrité du signal, tolérances)
  • Français et anglais fonctionnels (documentation technique et fournisseurs internationaux)
