Hospitalist – Eagle Ridge Hospital: Full and Part-time positions

Fraser Health is seeking physicians interested in working in our hospital medicine program at Eagle Ridge Hospital. Applicants should have a strong interest in acute care hospital practice and working collaboratively with all members of the inter-professional team, including other physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Allied Health staff.

Our team members will be proficient with the range of community resources available, and work collaboratively with community-based physicians to optimize discharge planning processes and patient care planning. Day and evening shifts are 7 days consecutively. Participation in overnight coverage is mandatory, but frequency of coverage is proportional to weeks worked.

Eligibility: Candidates must be licensed or (eligible for licensure) with College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) and have either CCFP (or equivalent) or FRCP credentials. Certification in ACLS is strongly suggested. Hospitalist experience, fellowship, and/or membership in professional hospital medicine societies. Rural medicine is an asset.
