Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Stucco Plasterer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying stucco and plaster finishes, with a strong background in construction-related tasks. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The position offers opportunities for growth and development within a dynamic construction environment.

Duties

  • Apply stucco, plaster, and related finishes to exterior and interior surfaces according to project specifications.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and setting up scaffolding or ladders as needed.
  • Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine application requirements and project scope.
  • Perform caulking and sealing to ensure weatherproofing and durability of finished surfaces.
  • Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing or installing lath when necessary.
  • Coordinate with team members to complete projects efficiently and maintain safety protocols.
  • Use hand tools, mixers, and other equipment to achieve smooth, even finishes.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in stucco application, construction painting, or related trades.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings.
  • Carpentry skills and handyman experience are highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform caulking, sealing, and surface preparation tasks accurately.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites.
  • Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license preferred.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
