Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes, schedules, and any issues encountered during transport.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
  • Assist in basic automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Operate forklifts and heavy equipment when required for loading and unloading tasks.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in freight transportation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus.
