Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing accounting functions, financial analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in corporate finance and accounting software to contribute to the growth and stability of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all accounting functions including bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Conduct account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other relevant tools for efficient financial management.
  • Perform auditing procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Monitor financial performance by analyzing account analysis reports and conducting variance analysis.
  • Support internal controls development and implementation to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation.
  • Provide insights on financial services, cost control, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Experience

  • Proven experience in corporate finance, accounting, or financial management roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms.
  • Strong background in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis.
  • Experience with budgeting, auditing processes, and financial reporting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing and financial services is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
