Full job description

Business Development Representative

Calgary, Alberta

Salary: $50,000 - $90,000 + Bonus + Profit Sharing

Build Something Bigger Than Yourself.

EAC Global is a Calgary-based electrical distributor serving industrial, commercial, utility, EPC, OEM, and panel shop customers across Western Canada. We supply everything from terminal blocks, relays, power supplies, breakers, wire management products, and control components through to transformers, switchgear, MCCs, panelboards, and other major electrical equipment.

We're growing quickly and looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

This is not a corporate role. This is not a position where you'll spend your days behind a desk waiting for opportunities to appear. We're looking for someone hungry, driven, and motivated by building relationships, solving problems, and creating opportunities.

We can teach products. We can teach sales processes. What we can't teach is work ethic, attitude, curiosity, and the desire to succeed.

The right person will work directly alongside ownership, learn from experienced industry professionals, and play a meaningful role in shaping the future of the business. The more value you create, the more opportunity exists for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing new customer relationships across Alberta
  • Meeting contractors, panel builders, OEMs, EPCs, consultants, and industrial end users
  • Identifying opportunities for electrical products and equipment
  • Supporting quotations, customer follow-up, and project development
  • Attending customer meetings, networking events, lunches, and industry functions
  • Working with suppliers and internal teams to solve customer challenges
  • Managing opportunities and customer activity through our CRM platform
  • Building long-term relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and service

Who You Are

  • Self-motivated, driven, and accountable
  • Comfortable building relationships and meeting new people
  • Professional, coachable, and eager to learn
  • Organized with strong communication skills
  • Competitive without being arrogant
  • Creative, resourceful, and able to think independently
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity rather than simply another job

Preferred Experience

  • Electrical industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience in electrical distribution, automation, controls, power systems, panel shops, construction, industrial sales, or related industries is considered an asset
  • Previous sales experience is beneficial but not required for the right candidate
  • Recent graduates with electrical, engineering technology, business, marketing, or related backgrounds are encouraged to apply

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation where effort and results are rewarded
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Profit sharing
  • Flexible work environment
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Paid vacation
  • Mentorship from experienced industry professionals
  • Direct exposure to ownership and decision makers
  • A genuine opportunity to help build and grow a company

Application Process

Qualified applicants will participate in an initial virtual interview followed by an in-person meeting with our leadership team.

If you're looking for a place where your effort matters, your ideas are valued, and your growth is limited only by your ambition, we'd like to hear from you.
