Job Type: Full-time, Salaried (up to 37.5 hours per week), Temporary 1-year contract

Schedule: Weekdays, with occasional evenings and weekends as required

Salary: $45,300.60 – $53,294.83 annually

What you’ll be doing:

  • Facilitating engaging employment readiness workshops that support individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment.
  • Developing and adapting workshop curriculum to meet a variety of learning styles, abilities, and employment goals.
  • Coaching participants in job search strategies, interview preparation, workplace skills, and job retention.
  • Supporting Edmonton Warehouse Academy and Goodwill Alberta Connect participants throughout their employment journey.
  • Monitoring participant progress, maintaining accurate case notes and documentation in ETO, and communicating updates with Employment Navigators.
  • Researching labour market trends and maintaining current employment resources to support program delivery.
  • Promoting disability awareness, self-advocacy, and inclusive employment practices within the community.
  • Participating in program planning, quality improvement initiatives, and cross-functional team meetings.
  • Maintaining confidential participant records while ensuring compliance with program policies and procedures.
  • Acting as a Goodwill ambassador by delivering exceptional service and fostering an inclusive, respectful learning environment.

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum two (2) years of post-secondary education in Human Services, Education, Social Work, Psychology, Adult Learning, or a related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in social services, workforce development, facilitation, learning and development, or a related field.
  • Valid First Aid Certification.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment and a commitment to inclusive employment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and electronic case management systems.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and build positive relationships with participants and community partners.
