Rockwood Custom Homes is a premier custom home builder based in Calgary, Alberta looking to expand our highly skilled team with the addition of an outstanding individual in Project Management & Design Administration. The successful candidate will thrive in our culture of excellence in their execution of the role: handle multiple projects with strict deadlines including coordinating client meetings, selection review and budget comparisons, procurement, and ongoing communication to clients, construction managers, owners, trades, suppliers and internal team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

o Project management experience

o Organizational and administrative experience

o Business experience is an asset

o Strong interest in home and interior design

o Design accreditation, experience or training an asset

o Academic accreditation in business, project management or administration an asset

DETAILS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Adhere to Rockwood Custom Homes standards and codes

· Lead client projects alongside the construction project manager and interior designer

· Create and adhere to detailed project budgets

· Review and analyze supplier quotes

· Create change orders and execute quote-to-budget comparison

· Complete site measurements and take-offs

· Conduct client meetings; skillful guidance in the selection of design components including flooring, tile, lighting, hardware, finishes and more

· Procure of materials including flooring, tile, lighting, hardware, finishes and more

· Liaise with project managers, site supervisors and trades

· Manage multiple responsibilities under the direction of leadership, working alongside the design team which may include but not limited to:

o General administrative duties

o Project administration

o Production and updating of client design and site books

o Detailed review of drawings for all required design components

COMPENSATION
