Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to a variety of industrial equipment, machinery, and structural components. Your expertise will ensure that products meet quality standards, are protected from corrosion, and maintain their integrity over time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and abrasive blasting.
  • Mix and apply industrial coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers.
  • Operate specialized spray systems including airless, conventional, and Plural System—to apply primers, epoxies, urethanes.
  • Read and follow work orders, coating specifications, safety data sheets, and technical instructions.
  • Operate and maintain painting, blasting, and surface-preparation equipment.
  • Clean, disassemble, inspect, and maintain paint pumps, ventilation hoods, hoses, and spray guns to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Follow all health, safety, environmental, and quality-control procedures.
  • Coordinate with the administrative, quality-control, and production teams.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous industrial painting or coating experience is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of chemical mix ratios, spray tip sizes, and surface assessment.
  • A thorough understanding of industrial coating specifications and end-user requirements is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Forklift, overhead-crane, abrasive-blasting, and relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Industry safety certifications, including Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, WHMIS, and CSTS, are preferred.
  • Knowledge of Denso product line is preferred.
