Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM (some flexibility available)

What You'll Do

As our Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring our financial records remain accurate, organized, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including general ledger maintenance and month-end procedures
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions
  • Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections
  • Manage Accounts Payable, including bill entry, vendor payments, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and file GST/PST returns and other regulatory filings
  • Assist with inventory tracking, job costing, and expense allocations
  • Maintain and update pricing sheets in Excel, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
  • Support year-end activities and liaise with external accountants
  • Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll processing
  • Ensure financial documentation is accurate, organized, and audit-ready

What You'll BringRequired Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (required)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including maintaining and updating pricing sheets
  • Experience preparing and filing GST/PST returns
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with inventory management and job costing
  • Payroll processing experience
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related field
  • QuickBooks Certification
