Full job description

Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Location: Dead Man's Flats, Alberta

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: Collective Stays Operations Manager

About the Role

The Laundry Attendant keeps clean, crisp linens flowing to every unit across our short-term rental portfolio — The Gem Stays in Harvie Heights and Sevenfold on Main Street. Working out of our laundry facility in Dead Man's Flats, you'll handle the full laundry cycle from soiled pickup to folded, pressed, and ready-for-pickup stock. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in a spotless finish and keeps things moving on a steady, reliable schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Laundry & Linens

  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press all linens, towels, and soft goods to a consistent, high-quality standard.
  • Treat stains and inspect items for wear, setting aside anything that needs replacement.
  • Prepare and organize the correct linens and quantities for each unit, ready for pickup on schedule.
  • Keep the laundry area clean, orderly, and running efficiently throughout the day.

Inventory & Coordination

  • Track clean linen stock and par levels so turnovers are never held up by a shortage.
  • Communicate with the Collective Stays Coordinator on volume, timing, and any supply needs.
  • Flag low detergent, supplies, or equipment issues before they become a problem.

Equipment & Care

  • Operate washers, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and according to guidelines.
  • Perform basic upkeep and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in a clean, well-pressed finish.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to keep a steady pace to meet daily turnaround deadlines.
  • Comfortable with physical work — standing for long periods, lifting linens, and repetitive tasks.
  • Able to work independently and stay organized with minimal supervision.
  • Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience is an asset but not required — we'll train the right person.

Why Join Us We offer steady full-time hours in a friendly, close-knit team where your work directly shapes the guest experience across some of the Bow Valley's best short-term stays.
