L’occasion :
Le ou la Superviseur(e) des opérations assurera l’excellence opérationnelle en planifiant la charge de travail, en maintenant l’exactitude des rapports, en veillant au respect des normes de sécurité et en collaborant avec les clients pour résoudre les enjeux et soutenir l’amélioration continue. Il ou elle dirigera et développera les équipes sur les sites en offrant un encadrement solide, en formant les leaders de première ligne et en favorisant une culture positive et responsable alignée sur les valeurs de l’entreprise.
Responsabilités du poste : Exécution opérationnelle
- S’assurer que les conteneurs sont enregistrés dans le système.
- Soutenir le Coach dans l’évaluation de la demande de travail versus le nombre et les compétences de l’équipe, afin de guider le recrutement, la formation et la planification des horaires.
- Identifier et signaler tout changement de portée.
- Rencontrer les clients chaque mois pour présenter les enjeux clés, obtenir leurs commentaires et mener des actions correctives.
- Veiller à ce que les outils et l’équipement soient disponibles et fonctionnels sur les sites.
- S’assurer que les bonnes tâches sont effectuées par les bonnes personnes.
- Former les Capitaines et approuver les Chefs d’équipe.
- Veiller à ce que la supervision sur les sites soit suffisante.
- Soutenir le Coach dans le développement du leadership chez les Capitaines.
- Garantir l’exactitude des rapports liés à la santé et sécurité.
- Effectuer des vérifications quotidiennes pour assurer l’exactitude de la paie et des factures, et faire le suivi des écarts.
- Vérifier régulièrement les pratiques de sécurité et la culture sur les sites, en surveillant l’utilisation des outils et les indicateurs de sécurité.
- S’assurer que l’équipe utilise l’EPI approprié.
- Ne jamais ignorer des pratiques non sécuritaires ou non conformes.
- Établir des attentes claires en matière de comportement et de rôle, en utilisant SPARQ et les valeurs/ comportements de l’entreprise.
- Communiquer activement la raison d’être de YG pour renforcer le sentiment d’appartenance entre les membres de l’équipe.
- Fournir de la rétroaction de manière constante et pratiquer la responsabilisation.

The opportunity:
The Operations Supervisor will oversee day‑to‑day execution by planning workloads, maintaining accurate reporting, ensuring all safety standards are met, and partnering with customers to resolve issues and support continuous improvement. They will lead and develop on‑site teams by providing strong guidance, training frontline leaders, and fostering a positive, accountable culture aligned with the company’s values.
The position will be responsible for:
- Operational Execution. Ensure containers are uploaded to system. Support Coach to forecast work demand vs team number/ skills as the basis for recruitment, training & rostering. Identify & escalate changes in scope. Meet monthly with customers to raise key issues, obtain feedback and drive action. Ensure tools & equipment are on site & working.
- Leadership/ Influence. Ensure the right tasks are being carried out by the right people. Train Captains and sign-off Crew Leaders. Ensure there is sufficient supervision on site. Support Coach to ensure leadership depth in Captain roles.
- Data & Reporting. Ensure accurate reporting on safety is completed. Undertake daily checks to ensure accuracy in pay & invoices, following up on any discrepancies.
- Safety Standards. Consistently check safety practices and culture of site, monitoring safety tool use & metrics. Ensure team are using correct PPE. Never walk past unsafe/ incorrect standards.
- Behavioural Standards. Set clear behavioural and role expectations for team using SPARQ and values/ behaviours. Actively convey & uphold YG purpose, fostering connection of the team to YG and each other. Consistently provide feedback & practice accountability.
