Are you a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys working directly with farm businesses, solving practical challenges, and helping producers in your community succeed from field planning through grain marketing?

AGRIS Co-operative Ltd. is looking for a motivated Crop Sales Specialist to build trusted relationships with farm member-owners and grow sales across an assigned territory. In this role, you will combine customer service, sales strategy, agricultural knowledge, and follow-through to deliver practical solutions that support farm profitability, operational success, and long-term sustainability.

This is an opportunity to be out in the community, understand each customer’s operation, and connect producers with the products, services, precision tools, grain marketing resources, and co-operative support they need to make confident business decisions.

Why join AGRIS:

· Make a visible impact by helping local farm families improve productivity, profitability, and sustainability.

· Represent a respected, farmer-owned co-operative with strong community roots and a loyal customer base.

· Work with a broad offering across agronomy, seed, precision agriculture, grain marketing, crop inputs, petroleum, and farm services.

· Build long-term relationships where service, trust, and follow-through matter.

· Join a team that values accountability, practical knowledge, customer care, and continuous learning.

What you will do:

· Provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction.

· Build and maintain trusted relationships with existing and prospective farm customers by delivering timely communication, practical recommendations, and exceptional customer experience.

· Develop whole-farm and field-specific plans using software tools, customer insights, precision agriculture data, and agronomic knowledge.

· Recommend the best agronomical solutions, AGRIS products and services across agronomy, seed, crop nutrients, crop protection, precision agriculture, grain marketing, petroleum, and related farm-input solutions.

· Plan and complete regular farm calls, field visits, demonstrations, and producer meetings to support customer success, territory growth, and branch sales goals.

· Identify growth opportunities, develop prospect lists, and collaborate with the Area Manager, Agronomy Sales Manager, and branch team on target accounts.

· Maintain accurate customer profiles, CRM records, activity reports, sales plans, credit application support, and competitive updates.

· Stay current on agronomy, grain and petroleum markets, technology developments, farming practices, sustainability considerations, and regulatory requirements.

· Support co-operative membership, branch operations, administrative processes, training activities, and individual and branch sales targets.

What you bring:

· Certified Crop Advisor designation (CCA) or commitment to obtain the designation within three years of the date of hire.

· Post-secondary education in agriculture, agri-business, agronomy, crop science, business, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.

· Experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, fertilizer, crop protection, seed, grain marketing, or a related agri-business role.

· Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to understand customer needs, ask thoughtful questions, and recommend practical solutions.

· Comfort using technology such as CRM tools, precision agriculture platforms, GIS mapping, soil sampling data, and Microsoft Office applications.

· Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel in and around the designated sales territory to support customer needs.

If you are ready to combine your sales ability, agricultural knowledge, and passion for customer success in a role that directly supports local farm businesses, we would like to meet you. Apply today and grow your career with AGRIS Co-operative Ltd.
