Full job description

We are looking for a skilled Electric Panel Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling electrical panels and control cabinets, including wiring and testing them to ensure that they meet industry standards and customer requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to assemble electrical panels and control cabinets.
  • Cut, strip, and crimp wires to connect electrical components and devices.
  • Mount and wire switches, relays, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components according to specifications.
  • Test completed panels to ensure they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during assembly or testing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in electrical assembly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in electrical assembly, panel building, or related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical principles and practices, including wiring, circuit design, and electrical testing.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in electrical assembly.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with small components and tools.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces

Wages may vary depending on candidate's experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
