We are seeking an experienced Group Controller (CPA) to lead the accounting and financial operations of Mianco Group Inc. and its subsidiaries. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing all financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, cash flow management, project accounting and financial strategy across a diverse multi-entity organization.

- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, dashboards and KPI reporting for executive leadership.
- Develop financial models to support business planning, capital investments and long-term growth.
- Assist with banking relationships, financing, lender reporting and cash flow planning.
- Support acquisitions, new business ventures, corporate restructuring and strategic initiatives as required.
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, general ledger and intercompany accounting.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital and treasury functions.

- Oversee construction project accounting including job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, percentage-of-completion accounting and revenue recognition.
- Monitor project profitability and provide financial analysis to ownership and operations.
- Review project budgets, forecasts, change orders, subcontractor costs and progress billings.
- Develop reporting that provides Project Managers and Operations with meaningful financial insight.
- Support estimating by providing historical costing data and financial analysis.
- Assist with inventory valuation and production costing for the Ready-Mix division.
- Monitor equipment costing, utilization and operating costs across the group of companies.

- Ensure compliance with ASPE, tax legislation and all regulatory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate annual reviews, audits and tax filings with external accountants.
- Develop purchasing controls, approval workflows and financial governance procedures.
- Identify financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.

One of the primary objectives of this role will be helping Mianco modernize its finance function through improved systems, reporting and automation.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate current accounting processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead the implementation, optimization or migration to an ERP system capable of supporting a growing multi-entity organization.
- Work closely with operations to integrate accounting with project management, purchasing, inventory and equipment management systems.
