Picker / Boom Truck Operator

Loadstar Dispatchers (1963) Ltd. is an Alberta-owned and operated transportation company based in Edmonton. Since 1963, we have provided transportation, logistics, and storage solutions to the oil and gas, power, utility, and industrial sectors throughout Western Canada.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking multiple Picker / Boom Truck Operators to join our team, operating:

  • Palfinger Knuckle Boom
  • Palfinger Grapple
  • Manitex Stiff Boom

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
  • Acceptable commercial driver's abstract
  • Apprentice or Journeyman Crane and Hoisting Equipment Operator (Boom Truck), or willingness to enroll in the apprenticeship program (we are willing to sponsor the right candidate)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
  • Ability to conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate documentation
  • Knowledge of and compliance with company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements
  • Professional attitude when representing Loadstar with customers and field personnel
