Are you looking for a fun and fast-paced summer job?

We’re hiring seasonal concession cooks to join our team at RAD Torque Raceway! This is the perfect opportunity for those with food preparation experience who want to earn extra income during the summer.

Job Details:

  • Position: We are looking for cooks.
  • Location: Rad Torque Raceway (50342 Range Rd 253, Edmonton International Airport, AB T9E 0V6)
  • Job Type: Seasonal, Casual
  • Hours: Mostly weekends & race days (varies based on event schedule)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of fast-food items (hot dogs, burgers, fries, nachos, popcorn, etc.).
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain knowledge of recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
  • Operate fryers, grills, warmers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor food temperatures to ensure safe serving conditions.
  • Restock ingredients, condiments, and supplies throughout the shift.
  • Notify supervisors of low-stock items or equipment issues.
  • Keep the concession area clean and organized.
  • Wash equipment, utensils, and surfaces regularly.
  • Dispose of trash and follow health department regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Reliable transportation.
  • Previous experience in food and customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be available to work weekends and race days.
