Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Service Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional plumbing services by diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in a variety of residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that all work meets safety standards, code and client expectations, contributing to the smooth operation of our service department. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while providing top-quality service to our valued customers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Licensed Journeyman Plumbers and/or 2nd, 3rd or 4th year plumbing apprentices
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Shows up prepared and takes pride in work
  • Can work independently but communicates well with team
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to plumbing installation, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fitting, and assembling piping and fixtures
  • Participate in the assembly of plumbing components according to specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes during all phases of work
  • Perform basic math calculations related to measurements, quantities, and material estimates
  • Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate installation or repairs on-site.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues by diagnosing problems using schematic diagrams and technical knowledge.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job for accurate reporting.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance within commercial or residential settings.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints an asset but not required.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction-related tools.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for transportation between job sites.
  • Basic math skills necessary for measuring materials and calculating project requirements.
