Construction Project Manager (Office & Medical Fit-Outs)

Location: Toronto (GTA) – In Office / On Site

Cubecom is a design-build project management firm specializing in office and medical fit-outs across the GTA. We work with both tenants and landlords to deliver high-quality, cost-controlled spaces that lease faster and perform better.

Our team integrates design, project management, and construction execution allowing us to move quickly while maintaining a high standard of delivery.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in commercial interior fit-outs to lead projects from pre-construction through closeout.

This role is best suited for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing budgets, trades, schedules, and client relationships simultaneously. You will be fully accountable for project delivery timeline, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership - Lead multiple interior fit-out projects from pre-construction to completion. Take full ownership of project outcomes, including budget, schedule, and client satisfaction

Pre-Construction & Estimating - Develop detailed scopes of work and trade breakdowns. Prepare accurate budgets and cost plans for office and medical projects. Collaborate with design teams, consultants, and clients during planning phases

Tendering & Procurement - Manage the full tender process (RFQs, leveling, scope alignment). Award and negotiate subcontracts based on value, scope clarity, and reliability

Scheduling & Execution - Build and manage detailed project schedules with clear critical paths

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain progress. Anticipate risks and proactively resolve issues to avoid delays

Client & Consultant Management - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders. Lead meetings, provide updates, and maintain strong working relationships

Technical Oversight - Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code, permits, and inspections. Oversee site execution in coordination with site supervisors and trades. Maintain quality control and enforce safety standards

Closeout - Manage deficiencies and ensure timely resolution. Deliver organized and complete closeout documentation

Qualifications

5+ years experience managing commercial interior fit-out projects (office required)

Proven experience with budgeting, estimating, and scope development

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trades, and building systems

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Confident communicator with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accountability
