Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Home Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating residential properties to ensure they meet safety, quality, and building standards. This role involves thorough inspections, data collection, and analysis to provide comprehensive reports for clients. The Home Inspector will play a crucial part in maintaining high standards of construction quality and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed inspections of residential properties, including structural elements, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and overall building integrity.
  • Collect and document data accurately during inspections using standardized checklists and digital tools.
  • Analyze inspection findings to identify potential issues or safety hazards.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining observations, findings, and recommendations for repairs or further action.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members regarding inspection results and necessary improvements.
  • Stay current with industry regulations, building codes, and best practices related to construction inspection.

Requirements

  • Proven experience or background in construction, quality control, or related fields such as construction inspection or blueprint reading.
  • Strong data collection skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical skills to interpret technical documents like schematics and blueprints effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills for report writing and client interactions.

Pay: $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
