As an Executive Meeting Manager, you'll play a key role in driving revenue and delivering exceptional guest experiences by securing and managing meetings, conferences, and special events. From the initial client conversation to the final post-event follow-up, you'll serve as a trusted partner, ensuring every event exceeds expectations while contributing to the success of our hotel.

What You'll Do
Build Meaningful Client Relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event lifecycle.
- Listen carefully to client goals and deliver customized solutions that create memorable experiences.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, changes, and requests while providing exceptional customer service.
- Foster long-term relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
Drive Sales & Business Growth
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and site visits.
- Negotiate contracts and secure meetings, conferences, and group business that support hotel revenue goals.
- Showcase hotel facilities and services through engaging site tours and client presentations.
Bring Events to Life
- Coordinate every aspect of meetings and events, including meeting space, accommodations, catering, audiovisual requirements, room setups, amenities, and billing.
- Prepare and manage contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and event documentation.
- Partner with hotel departments to ensure flawless event execution from start to finish.
- Anticipate challenges, solve problems proactively, and adapt quickly to changing client needs.
Champion Excellence
- Continuously look for innovative ways to enhance the guest and client experience.
- Maintain accurate records and event details within hotel sales and event management systems.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures while supporting a safe, secure, and professional environment.
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in hotel sales, catering, event management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Business, Event Management, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of event planning, banquet operations, and sales processes.
- Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and close business opportunities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Experience with Marriott sales and event management systems (CI/TY or similar) is an asset.
- Flexibility to occasionally work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
