Full job description

We’re looking for a hands-on developer who can build AI-capable computers and servers, run private AI models locally, and create apps that carry out real business tasks.

The goal is to develop customer-owned systems installed in their offices, giving businesses control over their data, access and AI processing. Our initial focus is property management, construction and bookkeeping.

What you’ll do

  • Select, assemble and configure hardware, including GPUs and AI accelerators.
  • Install and optimize locally hosted AI models.
  • Build user-friendly apps, dashboards and automated business processes.
  • Connect systems with email, accounting software, property-management platforms and company files.
  • Implement permissions, activity logs, backups and reliable error handling.
  • Create a repeatable setup that can be installed and supported at other companies.

Examples of workflows you’ll automate

These reflect work we’ve been doing over the past month.

  • Read invoice emails, identify the correct company and property, check for duplicates, and prepare QuickBooks entries with supporting attachments.
  • Review tenant ledgers, rent schedules and payments in Buildium, flag discrepancies, and cross-check accounting records.
  • Extract information from leases, invoices and statements to produce rent rolls, cost summaries and document packages.
  • Review email threads, draft replies, track outstanding tasks and follow up on deadlines.
  • Compile payroll information and allocate labour costs to projects.

What you’ll bring

  • Practical experience building computers or servers for AI workloads.
  • Experience deploying and running local language models.
  • Strong app-development, database and API-integration skills.
  • Ability to build dependable AI workflows that take actions across business systems.
  • Understanding of data privacy, security and user access.
  • Ability to turn business requirements into simple tools that nontechnical staff can use.

Experience with accounting or property-management software is an asset.

To apply, send your résumé and examples of hardware builds, apps or AI automations you’ve personally delivered. Briefly explain your role in each project.

Pay: $95,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
