Border Brokers Inc. is a Canadian Customs Broker, Consultant, and Freight Forwarder with over 40 years of industry experience. We help make customs clearance easy by creating solutions tailored to each client’s needs. We’re currently looking for a Customs Release Technician to join our amazing team. This role is perfect for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

What you’ll do:

  • Contact clients to request additional import documents or information
  • Compile, verify, and prepare customs clearance data
  • Review entries to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Set priorities and maintain organized records in our database
  • Scan, print, and file supporting documents
  • Respond to internal and external information requests
  • Assist with other tasks as needed

What we’re looking for:

  • CCS designation or customs brokerage experience (an asset)
  • Strong data entry skills with great attention to detail
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm
  • A collaborative, positive team player
  • Confident problem-solving skills and good judgment when escalating issues
