Full job description

Z-Tec is leading the world in industrial marking solutions and we want you on our team! We have a casual office environment that focuses on teamwork and collaboration.

Currently, we are expanding our support and installation team. You will be responsible for building and testing systems in our shop as well as conducting remote support and troubleshooting for existing customers. You will be traveling to customer sites in Canada, the US, New Zealand, Australia and Europe to run installations, finalize commissioning as well as providing onsite service trips for customers.

Service and Support technician for lumber mill automation company

  • Provide on site service and support to customers in North America, South America, New Zealand, Australia and Europe
  • Provide over the phone and VPN support to existing customers
  • Assemble and test components

Prerequisites:

  • Valid Passport and driver’s license
  • Ability to travel and work in the United States
  • Knowledge of electrical (DC) systems
  • Knowledge of computer systems
  • Willing to work occasional weekends
  • Willing to travel regularly

Advantageous Qualifications:

  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Multi-lingual: French, Spanish
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
