We are looking to fill a permanent, full-time position as an Industrial Credit Officer at our Richmond office, serving our client base.

Reporting to the Director, Industrial Credit, your role will include managing a portfolio of customer accounts by analyzing accounts, processing credit applications, and implementing collection strategies when required.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of an Industrial Credit Officer include:

  • Managing a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Communicating with customers to collect outstanding balances.
  • Releasing customer orders on a daily basis.
  • Conducting credit investigations (for both active and new customers).
  • Collaborating with the sales team and customer service department.
  • Building strong business relationships with customers.
  • Investigating and resolving claims.

Requirements:

  • College diploma (DEC) in Administration or a combination of a relevant diploma and 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of AS400 and/or JD Edwards (JDE) systems (an asset).
