We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our boutique guest accommodation property in Ucluelet. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual or responsible couple looking for a rewarding lifestyle on the West Coast.
A private two-bedroom suite is available on site for $900 per month, including all utilities.
About the Role
As Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our property is impeccably maintained while providing an outstanding experience for every guest. You will be the primary point of contact for guests and will oversee all aspects of the property's daily operation.
This position averages approximately 40 hours per week during the busy summer season and 25-30 hours per week during the quieter winter months.
Start date: September 1-15, 2026

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the property.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences.
- Manage reservations and guest communications.
- Clean guest suites to a consistently high standard.
- Complete laundry and maintain an organized linen inventory.
- Ensure the property is always clean, tidy, and guest-ready.
- Perform regular property inspections.
- Complete light groundskeeping and seasonal maintenance, including weeding and snow removal.
- Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues and coordinate contractors when required.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies.
- Hire, train, and supervise seasonal staff.
- Respond professionally to guest concerns, after-hours issues, and occasional noise complaints.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous professional cleaning or housekeeping experience.
- A strong commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Pride in maintaining an immaculate, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and solve problems confidently.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to manage online bookings and email.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings when required.
- Experience in hospitality, hotel operations, vacation rentals, or property management is considered a strong asset.
Accommodation
A private two-bedroom suite is available on site for $900 per month, including all utilities.
Please note that the suite is located beneath guest accommodations, so applicants should be comfortable with the normal level of noise associated with guests staying above.
Due to the nature of the property, dogs cannot be accommodated. One cat would be considered.
Compensation & Benefits
