Job description

Our rapidly growing Calgary office is seeking to add an experienced design engineer or technologist to our team of professionals. Residential and commercial/industrial Land Development engineering and Municipal Infrastructure design are key areas of focus at Lee Maher Engineering. We have a wide variety of projects that impact and improve the communities we work in. The successful candidate will be required to use AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare engineering designs and assist with some drafting when required that relate to municipal and land development projects which include, but not limited to, stormwater, sanitary, potable and non-potable water systems, roadways and other surface works, site grading, and some mechanical infrastructure relating to these systems. Our office works on a wide variety of projects so working on both land development and municipal infrastructure will be required.

Our desired team member will have an engineering degree or a Civil Technologist diploma, registration of some level with APEGA or ASET (or the ability to do so), have a minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in land development/municipal drafting, and have direct working knowledge along with actual project experience using AutoCad Civil 3D and it's functions for drafting, pipe networks, surface creation/earthwork takeoffs, corridors, alignments, profiles, etc. You must have direct Civil 3D experience working on residential and/or commercial land development/municipal projects in North America to be considered.
