Responsibilities:

* Prepare sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes according to recipes and standards

* Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation

* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi station and kitchen area

* Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure safe food handling

* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service

* Assist in inventory management and ordering of sushi ingredients

* Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and answering questions about the menu.

Qualifications:

**** Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a restaurant or food industry setting - In-depth knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, including rolling, cutting, and plating

*** Familiarity with various types of fish, seafood, and other ingredients used in sushi dishes

*** Strong attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing presentations

*** Excellent knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely

*** Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality

*** Effective communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
