Full job description

Company Overview:

Location: 4215 Commerce Circle, Victoria, British Columbia. V8Z 6N6
Work hours: 04:00 AM onwards, with an opportunity to work extra hours.

Must have access to your own transportation as the buses don't run at this time. This is a Casual position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Unload shipments from delivery trucks and containers, ensuring that all items are accounted for and undamaged.
  • Sort and organize products for storage or distribution, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Operate pallet jacks to move large pallets and materials as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
  • Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
  • This is a fast pace shift and a very good cardio workout!

Qualifications

  • No Criminal Record (for which a pardon has not been granted).
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Greater Victoria is an asset for sorting inbound freight.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • No more than 3 demerit points in the last 24 months
  • Must have a valid driving license & access to own transportation
