Location: Smiths Falls, Ontario
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day shift (flexibility required based on operational needs)
Department: Warehouse / Transportation
Reports To: Terminal Supervisor

Position Summary

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated General Labour Associates – Warehouse & Sortation Operations to join our Smiths Falls team.

This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and sortation activities to ensure freight is handled efficiently, accurately, and safely. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing shipments and supporting timely deliveries for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • De-stuff containers and unload inbound freight
  • Sort freight using conveyor belt systems
  • Build and organize skids for outbound shipments
  • Scan freight using RF scanners
  • Shrink wrap and secure freight for transport
  • Prepare shipments for time-sensitive deliveries
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow company procedures and safety standards

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous warehouse or general labour experience considered an asset
  • Ability to safely unload freight from containers
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Steel-toe safety footwear required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and dependable work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent considered an asset
