Title: Clerk, Data Entry

Employment Status: Temporary Full-Time (3 months)

The incumbent will enter data into databases and[AC2.1] ensure that all information is valid and accurate.


In this role, you will:

  • Receive and record invoices, forms, files, and other documents for data entry.

  • Enter data into databases and appropriate software.

  • Check that data is accurate and complete, and make corrections as needed.


What we are looking for:

  • The successful candidate will commit to uphold the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and embody the Canadian Red Cross’s core competencies: team excellence, service excellence, accountability, and results focused.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite and the Canadian Red Cross database.

  • Ability to work professionally as part of a team on multiple simultaneous project to meet deadlines.

  • Organizational skills, discipline, and attention to detail.

  • Sense of responsibility and ability to prioritize.


Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work during non-traditional hours (i.e. late night or weekends) and long hours in demanding contexts.

  • Ability to be deployed anywhere across the assigned territory, as required.

  • As we work with and support people (managers, colleagues, beneficiaries/customers, volunteers, donors and external partners) and communities in Canada and around the world, applicants whose first language is not English may be required to perform the responsibilities of the role in English.
