Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Noisy

Work setting: Rural area

Responsibilities: Tasks: Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations

Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)

Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery

Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools

Clean and maintain work space

Check and monitor product quality

Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements

Ensure that process steps are carried out according to specifications

Maintain quality control and production records

Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions

Experience and specialization: Equipment and machinery experience: Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines

Additional information: Security and safety: Criminal record check

Transportation/travel information: Own transportation

Valid driver’s licence

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity

Attention to detail

Hand-eye co-ordination
