AUTOCAD TECHNICIAN
CIVIL ENGINEERING, SUBDIVISION AND SITE PLANNING

Role Overview

Reporting to the Firm's AutoCAD Project Manager, and working with our AutoCAD Design team and Project Managers, to perform the following duties:

  • Focus on Subdivision and Site Plan AutoCAD designs.
  • Assist in developing AutoCAD designs for subdivision infrastructure and site plans (Site grading, storm sewers, water mains, service plans, land development)
  • Knowledge of current requirements of the Conservation and Municipal Regulatory authorities, as well as utility contractors, site preparation works contractors, and sewer and watermain contractors - for subdivision and site plan designs
  • Be able to create/prepare engineering drawings with AutoCAD and Civil 3D o Pipe networks o Surface Building o Corridor Modelling

What will you contribute?

  • An understanding of Project Lifecycles.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively when multiple project priorities are in conflict
  • Maintain experience and understanding of the production design environment.
  • Maintain a good working attitude and a desire to be a key member of our dynamic team.
  • Possess a good understanding and knowledge of civil design / CAD drafting standards.

Experience: 3 Years Minimum of experience in subdivision and site plan designs

Education / Designation:

  • Certified Engineering Technician (CET) education or equivalent
  • Engineering Degree or Diploma from an accredited and recognized institution

Language: English (Well written and spoken) (Required)
