Make an impact as a Consultant with our Indigenous Consulting Services team. You’ll provide comprehensive analysis, strategic guidance and action planning that turns complexity into clarity and support our clients in achieving their visions. This diverse team of professionals works with more than 270 Indigenous peoples, groups and organizations across Canada and shares a passion for learning and understanding their history, culture, and contributions to our country. With more than 500 team members dedicated to this sector, no other firm has invested as much time and resources into serving the unique needs of Indigenous communities.

This opportunity is available in the following locations across Canada: Toronto, London, Waterloo, Thunder Bay, Timmins, and Ottawa.

Responsibilities

  • Propose, plan and deliver consulting engagements with a focus on strategy and planning services in the private, public, not-for-profit and Indigenous sectors
  • Support business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program review, program re-deigns, financial analysis and other forms of management consulting
  • Develop project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders
  • Conduct detailed research and data collection, interviews, focus groups and surveys
  • Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis and consolidate results to provide meaningful conclusions and recommendations
  • Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure needs are met and relationships grow and develop
  • Review, design and develop high-quality deliverables including reports, presentations and other correspondence
  • Lead engagement teams, developing effective relationships with clients while coaching and mentoring junior team members
  • Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of consulting experience, ideally in a client-service environment
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations an asset
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Indigenous studies, business, economics, political science, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • CMC, PMP or other related certifications are considered an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
