About Reliance Ventures
Reliance Ventures is a Western Canadian oilfield transportation and logistics company specializing in production fluid transportation services. The company operates a modern fleet and is committed to safety, reliability, and customer service throughout the energy sector.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Representative to help expand our presence across Alberta and Western Canada.
Position Summary
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships, and supporting strategic growth initiatives within the oil & gas and industrial sectors.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in transportation, logistics, oilfield services, or industrial sales who enjoys building relationships and delivering solutions for customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within oil & gas, industrial, and energy sectors
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and presentations
- Prepare proposals, pricing packages, and service agreements
- Work closely with dispatch and operations teams to ensure service excellence
- Attend networking events, industry functions, and trade shows
- Maintain CRM records and sales activity reports
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Support long-term account growth and retention
Qualifications
- Previous business development, sales, or account management experience
- Transportation, trucking, logistics, or oilfield service experience is considered a strong asset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Willingness to travel within Alberta as required
