Camp Arowhon is looking for a full-time summer staff member to join the maintenance team. Live on site in beautiful Algonquin Park with all meals provided OR commute if you happen to live in the area (1 hr drive from Huntsville)
We are looking for someone who not only has a valid F class licence but is comfortable driving and rigging small to medium sized trailers (up to 20 feet) and interested in working in the remote setting that is Algonquin Park.
Job entails driving campers and counsellors to remote canoeing destinations for drop off, including a trailer with all gear.
Primary Job Description:
- Drive 15 passenger van with canoe trailer in 8-10 hour shifts
- Rig own trailer, able to turn around in small spaces
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Handling heavy loads
- Physically demanding
- 8 hour shifts, 6 days a week (48 hrs total) - option for less shifts if not living on site
- Staff accommodation and meals provided (Room and Board)
Additional Skills
- small engine repairs, cleaning, or maintenance work is available also onsite at Camp to supplement the driving work.

About Camp Arowhon:
Over 100 buildings with ~550 people living on site in summer months. Full hydro and water to cabins, all meals cooked and served in Main Lodge building. A summer camp for kids aged 5-14 in July and August and school groups/weddings in spring and fall.
