Position Summary

Do you want to play a hands-on role in bringing a major new system to life for your community? Join us as we roll out NetSuite across our Nunavut operations!

We're looking for a people-first, tech-comfortable coordinator based in Rankin Inlet to be the local technology and systems resource for our NetSuite implementation. Training content and formal delivery are owned by the project team; you'll be the on-the-ground support person: reinforcing what's been taught, troubleshooting day-to-day issues, and helping employees navigate NetSuite modules.

This starts as a term position, with the intent to evaluate turning it into an ongoing role for future technology initiatives based on impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the primary on-the-ground technology and systems support contact in Rankin Inlet and Arviat for NetSuite.
  • Support and help facilitate training sessions locally, using content and materials developed by the project team; you're the local delivery hands.
  • Provide day-to-day troubleshooting and answer process/system questions from field employees and escalate complex issues to the implementation team.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and reinforcement following formal training, especially in the weeks right after each go-live.
  • Work with local site supervisors to identify scheduling, connectivity, and logistics constraints specific to each community, and adapt support delivery accordingly.
  • Help identify, onboard, and coach local super users who can sustain peer support after go-live.
  • Relay field feedback, recurring technical issues, and adoption barriers back to the Winnipeg project team.
  • Support communication between field employees and Winnipeg-based management throughout the transition.
  • Travel regularly between Rankin Inlet and Arviat, and to other sites as needed.

What You Bring

  • Strong understanding of and connection to Inuit culture and community dynamics in the Kivalliq region; ability to build trust quickly with employees and local leadership.
  • Comfort with technology and new systems; a NetSuite background isn't required, but you're the kind of person coworkers come to when they're stuck on a work app or process.
  • A genuine customer-service mindset: patient, approachable, and comfortable explaining the same thing multiple ways for people at different comfort levels with technology.
  • Comfortable reinforcing and supporting training already delivered by others, rather than designing it yourself; you're the follow-through, not the curriculum owner.
  • Comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating closely with a remote team based in Winnipeg.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Inuktitut ability is a strong asset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly between Rankin Inlet and Arviat.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in a technical support, help desk, or systems administration capacity.
  • Prior experience in maintenance, field service, point-of-sale, inventory, or HR administration.
  • Experience as an informal "go-to" tech helper in a previous role.
  • Existing relationships with site supervisors or department contacts in Rankin Inlet or Arviat.

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Be part of a major enterprise transformation, right from your community.
  • Gain hands-on experience with NetSuite, systems support and change management.
  • Work in a collaborative, values-driven team that encourages initiative and ownership.
  • Help shape how this role grows, strong performance in this term could lead to an ongoing role.

If you're ready to make a real difference for your community during this transition, we'd love to hear from you!

  • Housing allowance
