D&D Masonry Ltd. is a busy masonry company with over 30 years of experience in the masonry industry. We are looking for motivated individuals who are experienced Bricklayers to join our team to start work immediately. The work site can be anywhere in the Lower Mainland. Wage to be determined depending on experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Bricklayers at D&D Masonry have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding masonry projects. Our projects vary in size and type, which includes new commercial buildings and residential.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

-Laying bricks, concrete block and various types of stone and real rock for new build

-Working at heights on scaffolding

-Comprehension to details and trouble shooting skills

-Other activities as directed

REQUIREMENTS:

-Highly motivated and strong will to constantly learn and improve

-Be a Certified Journeyman Bricklayer in BC, have the Red Seal Certification or be able to demonstrate an equivalent skill level. Inexperienced bricklayer need not apply

-Meticulous and has attention to detail

-Deep understanding of all types of masonry

-Own Tools

-Must provide own transportation

-Effective interpersonal skills, team player, communication, focus and reliability

-Critical thinking and problem solving skills

-Effective communication skills in English

-Job locations vary depending on the projects but usually in the Lower Mainland and some in Vancouver

POSITION SPECIFIES:
